REESE MOTORSPORTS TACKLES TST DOUBLE-DIP
(May 7, 2012) The Reese Motorsports team tackled the historic Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama over the May 4-5 weekend for a pair of Dirt Late Model programs. On Friday night at TST, Brian Reese timed in seventeenth fastest during qualifying and later wound up twenty-fourth in the final rundown of the $2,000 to win feature event. At the "Hornets Nest" on Saturday evening, the Southern Allstars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) rolled in to sanction a $3,500 to win showdown. Brian laid down the ninth quickest lap during the qualifying session and eventually landed a fourteenth place performance in the A-Main. REESE BANKS TOP FIVE AT GREEN VALLEY SPEEDWAY!
(April 23, 2012) The #33 team ventured to the Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama on Saturday evening, April 21. An unsanctioned program took place at GVS on Saturday and a $2,000 top prize was on the line. Brian Reese timed in second quickest during the qualifying session, but later finished fifth in the dash after being inverted. The Sharpsburg, Georgia driver then started from the inside of the third row in the 30-lap feature event and wound up posting a solid fifth place performance behind only winner Ray Cook, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Jake Knowles, and Jackson Hale. #33 TEAM EARNS TOP TEN IN SPRING CHAMPIONSHIP
(April 16, 2012) Brian Reese and his #33 team traveled to the historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia on Saturday night, April 14 for the $2,000 to win 'Spring Championship.' Brian laid down the fifth fastest lap during the qualifying session to earn the inside third row starting spot in the A-Main. The Sharpsburg, Georgia ace battled for the second position early in the race before contact with another competitor caused him to fade a bit towards the end of the event. REESE AN IMPRESSIVE RUNNER-UP AT BRASSTOWN
(April 9, 2012) The Reese Motorsports team invaded the Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina and the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee over the April 6-7 weekend. On Friday night at Tri-County, Brian Reese qualified well and later ran an impressive second in the $2,000 to win, 30-lap feature event behind only winner Shane Clanton. At Cleveland on Saturday evening, Brian advanced into the 'Shamrock 50' via a third place finish in the B-Main. After rolling off twenty-first on the grid in the $10,000 to win Southern Allstars Dirt Racing Series main event, the Sharpsburg, Georgia native wound up fifteenth after fifty green flag laps. REESE RETURNS TO ACTION AT NORTH GEORGIA...
(April 2, 2012) After sitting through a couple of rain-outs in recent weeks, Brian Reese returned to action on Saturday night, March 31 at the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series sanctioned a $4,000 to win program on Saturday at the northern Georgia 1/3-mile oval. Brian timed in fourteenth fastest during the qualifying session, but later won his B-Main to gain access into the feature event. He then started twelfth on the grid in the A-Main and advanced up to seventh in the running order before unfortunately getting into the wall. The Sharpsburg, Georgia native retired from the race following the bout with the concrete and wound up twentieth in the final rundown.
